Dunno. It's all pretty new and I can't even be bothered reading the small print ot see what it says. If you are in danger of losing points at the end of the year then just redeem them against some pointless crap stuff like a screensaver...

I'd have thought that they'd put some other things to be available such as accessories or something...I know I' like to exchange my points for a normal official controller, if that was possible. At the moment you have things at either end of the spectrum - you've got screensavers/player guides for a few hundred points and then the gap jumps to 4500 for a Wavebird! Why not have your poins redeembale against the price of software/accessories? You could get a fiver off a purchase with every 1000 points. Not a bad idea but hardly one that Nintendo will embrace.

Don't the points only last a year? I seem to recall someone else saying as much...mayeb I should read the stinking small print!

There's no point getting the screensavers, just sav the points. There's no time limit on the offers and I'm sure they'll keep bringing new ones in.

I've already got a Wavebird. Had it for about 3-4 months now. Fantastic devices!
