I am the proud owner of just about every games machine and console that's come out since the spectrum 48K (which i still have)
However i cant condone all this talk about PS2 being a better system than the X-box. Dont get me wrong its a good bit of kit. But you cant judge a console by the games on it, the x-box has higher spec hardware, youve only got to play a game like timesplitters or bunout on it and then compare to the ps2 version to see the very obvious graphics and speed difference. I admit whoever designed the controller on the box was a blind monkey on acid but who cares, you can use ps2 controller's on x'box with a $6:00 adapter. Can anyone argue this point

I dont own an X-box, and dont really want one. But i can still name many quality titles on it. As i can do with the GC and the PS2. They ALL have quality titles on them, its just whether or not they appeal to you personally.

After being around here a few days now posting properly, you soon see the nature of peoples thoughts on the opposite consoles. Its stupid at times.

Thats not a dig at you btw...

Im feel hurt that you dont belive that i have a spectrum, i am admitidly only 22, but i still had my 48k, dizzy egg was the greatest game ever made. i also aplogise for my bad english, i had no idea you need an english degree to chat with playstion2 owners on the web.
Please forgive me fellow friends, you are all correct it is the quality of games that counts, i hope you can all find a place in your hearts to forgive me for starting such a foolish chat topic. Im taking my playstaion out for lunch tonight and were going to talk our problems through.

which car is better, a ferrari or a jeep? one has better specs, the other one can be driven on various terrains. which aspect makes a good car? is there a definite truth about one being better than the other? doesn't it really come down to people's interests and expectations?

I think that X Box will come out better. WHEN PIGS FLY!! MWAAAHAAAAAAAA

PS2 wins, because of games like
Deus Ex
MGS2
GTA 3
Vice City
The Getaway

Your point??

Personal preference PS2, as I think it has a wider variety of high quality games than either the XBox of GC.

But that's just my opinion.
