I have done it on perfect, its not too hard until you try it on perfect.
Although the Carrington institute (defense) is an absolute git.
Then, pull out your rapid fire gun and blast the 3 prongs of the statue behind him. (Do the two side ones first)
Once the third one is down, you have finished the game - enjoy the three bonus missions
;-)
