I know most of you did it, I even did it, which suprised myself.

I'm talking about FF X, of course. How many bought FF VI, just to get the demo of 10? I did.

To be fair, I didn't know what to expect, which probably worked in my favour. I'd never played any FF games in my life before. My mate did have 7 on his PSX, and I'd seen him play that, and it looked well boring.

However, I was quite pleased with FF X.

The camera was a bit annoying, with no way of moving it manually. And what's with sudden fights every so often? Anyway, apart from that I thought it was ok. I would have liked to know a bit more of the story, as I gather that's one of FF strengths.

Not sure if I'd buy the full game on the strength of the short demo, but I certainly think higher of the series than I did before.

I'll definately give FF VI a go, see if I can get the hang of that...

I'm having my PS2 chipped for imports in the near future and if only I'd known about Final Fantasy X:International with all european languages,Japanese Voices (which I prefer) and the fact that it won't have any borders, slowdown or f**king delay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

oh well not long now, considering ;-)

I bought the game for the demo, but at £10 it was worth it. If the game had been £25 then I wouldnt have bothered. I'll play on FF6 sometime when I have some free time. But MGS2 in 6.5 days and the X-Box in 12.5 days, so I havent got time for FF6.

I don't mind the sudden fights (it's part of the ff series) but in ff10 they really made me jump, i would be admiring the water effects in the water fall and CRACK! my screen would shatter, Final Fantasy the new resi evil.

the sudden fights or random battles are a big part of the FF series. you'll get used to them eventually. if not then you'll really hate FF
