Can you remember when you could just sit for hours playing on the old games like "thunderball" without getting bored,the gameplay was fantastic. If you don't know what thunderball is,it is a game where you hit a ball at blocks with another block and when you hit them they dissapeared.it was quite good,it looked something like this:

Nowadays are games concentrating on graphics and not gameplay??

Puchi Carot is an the playstation's version of Thunderball
The graphics are like bust-a-move 2 i think...

you get a cool controller with it sometimes too.

There have been a few games like this, just with different names to make them original, eg break out. Man that game was great. I think they made a 3D version for PSone before as well as 3D pong. But it wasnt that great.

...And tonight on the vague news... ; )

I remember Arknoid: Revenge of Doh, that was a similar game with loads of powerups and the like.

It was one of my favourite Spectrum games!

I remember an old game fondly, although I can't remember what it was caled. It took 15 minutes to load 2 minutes gameplay, but I would wait for the 15 mins just to play, it was great fun.
