could some one clear something up for me once and for all!!!!
I dont really care who l;ikes xbox or who likes PS2/GameCube etc... Im gonna have both as long as i like the games..... :p It shouldn't be about the consoles where the good games go - I go!
anywhay i just heard that half of the xboxs for the uk are going to be held back due to the a lack of them on the continent...!!! Whats that about?? Has anyone else heard anything??

I'm sure it 1.5 because its for all or Europe remember. I know the Uk's definitely in the region of 350 000 though. I'd expect the Xbox to do reasonably well in France, Germany, maybe Spain and Italy as well, so once you start dividing that 1.5 between Europe its not much really. Plus Microsoft have said they want some consoles to be in the shops so that those who haven't preordered or that want one the week after launch, can get one - unlike Sonys disaster....

350,000 on day 1. But isnt the 1.5 million in the first 3 months.

350,000 is more than four times the PS2 had out on launch day. Especially with the incoming launch of GC there will undopubtedly be enough X-Box's in Britain on day one - even if you haven't already pre-ordered (he hopes) :)

Okay its like this;
Europe, for March 14th, is receiving 1.5 million consoles from Microsoft's plant in Hungary. Of these the UK is expecting around 350 000 as we're the third largest market in the world.
The plant in Hungary can produce,if it has to, 15 000 consoles a day. The plants location in Europe means that Microsoft can resupply anywhere in Europe within 3 days of a shortage. The official mag provided most of this info !
So the story's almost certainly not true.
