I got junk mail sent to my office today, addressed to Mr Snuggly. Huh? How did that happen? I've never used this nickname outside of these forums, so I'm quite scared. It was a small sachet of Hugo Boss, if you're interested.

Nope - no image was loading at all, and on checking the properties for the placeholder it revealed that the URL which had been entered was for an IP address, now the placeholder points to a domain, and is working.

Besides, I configured my PC to flush it's cache each time I shut it down, so it ain't that ;)

Might be the image of the normal splat was stored in cache for your browser to access quicker meaning that this image was opened instead of the X-mas snowman one.

Except in the case of Special Reserve, when it was dynamic. :P
That's why the picture wasn't loading, and that (if you look at the properties on the image now) is why they replaced the IP address with the URL it's currently using. :P

Meaning I was infact, right. ;)

See, your just wrong.
Business get special internet accounts with stupid bandwidth at expensive costs, and those IPs are usually static.

Anyway, every website etc has an IP and very rarely do they change dynamically.

The reason general public IPs are allocated dynamically is to create a secure platforms for individuals who don't really require a static IP, theres little point.

I wasn't referring to your IP, I was referring to the IP they'd entered in the page's source as the image's host, if you currently see it fine it's likely because it's still stored in IE's (or whatever browser you're using) cache from the time you visited and it did load.

It's a snowman with presents around it with the Special Reserve logo behind it.

Works fine for me. :-)
