Okay, I want everyone to sit up and pay attention. Come on. You at the back there as well. Okay. Ready? Now I'm going to tell you a story about two men. Two BIG men. These men "formed the greatest band the world has ever seen! and they called themselves Tenacious D".

Jack Black and Kyle Gass are Tenacious D. Yep, just the two of them, but that's enough believe me. Starting off with just the one song, they began playing clubs in Hollywood, with their unique brand of rock and comedy, they soon had a massive following, culminating in their album being released last year.

Black's vocals are amazing, (anyone who has seen High Fidelity will know he CAN sing!), and they have some great musicians backing them up, including Dave Grohl playing drums and guitar on a number of the tracks.

The songs themselves? Well, I'd like to tell you about them, but half of the titles would be blocked by SR, and quite right too. This album is not for kiddies! But I will try to give you an idea:

The One Note Song - Jack's writing skills shine in this song, which only uses one note.
Tribute - A song about the greatest song in the world, which Kyle and Jack wrote to save themselves from a demon, but have now forgotten.
Wonder Boy - a song about the superhero Wonder Boy, and his arch rival, Young Nasty Man, who turn out to be Jack and Kyle!
Rock Your Socks Off - Possibly the only rock song in the world to have some Bach in it, with the lines following it of: "That is Bach, and it rocks, it's a rock block of Bach, that he learned in the school called the school of hard knocks"!
City Hall - Jack and Kyle overthrow the evil rulers in City Hall, and then take their place as the "Two Kings"!

I'm not sure if the album is available over here yet, I got mine from Play.com, mail order from the states. But I would definitely recommend it. Whatever type of music you like, this is a quality album.

Sorry, just feeling smug at how I was trying to tell everyone about The D back then, no-one listened, and now they are in Play 24/7's top ten album chart!

Has anyone on here seen the video on MTV2 yet? It's brilliant, if you haven't, sit down tonight at about 5:30 and catch the end of the Most Wanted chart. You're waiting for Tribute, let me know what you think.

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
