Use Linux? I use Linux 70% of the time I'm using my primary home computer (for Internet browsing, sending e-mails, typing-up homework, designing webpages, programming in Python, etc) but I'm into PC gaming and when it comes to games Linux can't rival Windows - yet. There are some good games for Linux like Quake 3 and Unreal Tournament 2003 but most modern games are only released for Windows and require Microsoft DirectX. Whilst I could try to play some of these games using a Windows emulator in Linux, I'd rather just dual-boot my computer with Windows 2000 because it's a much simpler solution and makes it far easier for me to play Internet and local network games. Windows 98SE isn't a particularly bloated version of Windows and it's semi-reliable but when I absolutely have to use Windows I go for Windows 2000 because it has far better memory management than Windows 98SE and it's less crash-prone, in my experience.

Windows 2000 is just as stable as Windows XP, if not more stable, and much quicker (because there are fewer unnecessary system services started by default which hog memory).

Why has this forum still got windows tagged on the end of it? I know it's Microsoft, but most people in the web forum would know a lot more than people here about windows.
Everyone knows if you want a PC question answered, you ask it in the web forum. Right?

What a bloody joke that is.
Because as if any person who didn't buy it legit would click.
ROFL! Microsoft's new way of catching illegal copies is asking and saying please... :-D
