Ok, what does everyone think about Sony's plan to produce a nice little budget range of £19.99 games?
These are allegedly to include the lovely GT3 among others, not anything to do with other consoles arriving shortly at all! ;-)

Come on... must have SOMETHING to do with it. They've probably had the idea of releasing the range for a while, like you said. It's just good timing now, to bring people away from the X-Box.
Ahhh Sony, you gotta love them. They plan to unleash thier wonderful PS2 Platinum Range on the 1st of March, which is this Friday, Hoorah! Games such as Red Faction, GT3, Tekken Tag, Star Wars Starfighter etc will be in this new range.
Personally I don't think it is to do with the new consoles on the way, Sony really have little to worry about. They launched their Platinum range previously on PSone after 18 months of games being out, the same is occuring here.

I've seen GT3 and Crazy Taxi at the £19.99 price tag so far.
I think someone told me that Resident Evil is £19.99 too but I'm not so sure about that one.

I mean, GT3 is probably the best realistic racer on the market, and to have it at £19.99 is brilliant. I might actually complete it soon...

the first MGS was good but was too short and once you had completed it, it seemed like a bind to complete it again for the other ending and special item...i loved it first time round but now its predictable and im sure this will be the same for MGS2 but it will be longer...Games need storys with changable plots like if you fail to do something the story changes so u harldy get the same game twice
