Ok, what does everyone think about Sony's plan to produce a nice little budget range of £19.99 games?
These are allegedly to include the lovely GT3 among others, not anything to do with other consoles arriving shortly at all! ;-)

Are they doing it the same as they did for PS where after selling a certain amount of copies they all go cheap? Or is it only for certain titles to do with Sony?

The information originally came from a shop's website, but I saw it again on Digitiser yesterday (still on there today if you want a look).
Sounds a good idea to me, whether or not Sony are doing it because of the competition. Cheaper priced games will sell more consoles and make current owners happy.
Of course, it's all ripped off from Mastertronic's original idea!

Surely you remember the budget range on the C64? As famous as hell.

(Personally I reckon there's a market for shorter, cheaper games that launch at a budget price, but that's another issue).
