Skulking about on the net I find quite a lot of people stating that they are not really that excited about games being released. Prompted me to make a list of mine, which mostly end up being unknown or little known indie projects or crowd funded pieces.

Thought I'd slap them on here as I know a few share similar interests.

Drooling about...

Shroud of the Avatar: Forsaken Virtues - Multi-player (not MMO) RPG from the creator of Ultima series
Project Eternity - D&D Classic Style RPG from Obsidian
Age of Wonders 3 - Not saying anything...so excited

Excited about...

Pandora: First Contact - TBS (Avatar TBS basically)
Legend Of Grimrock 2 - Just first images at the moment
At the Gates - Jon Shafer/Indie
Company of Heroes 2 - Main site appears down

Some others I'm keeping an eye on...

Plants vs. Zombies 2
Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD
Civ 5: Brave New World
Banished
Wildstar
Planescape Torment/Numenera

@Nin

Went off MGS after 2 for some reason. No idea why.
Beyond... Didn't really find Heavy Rain that great but I might keep an eye on it.
FF14... My god how I want to be positive. But no, unfortunately I'll avoid it like the plague.

@David:

AoW 3 is new age though, and looks to have a lot more 'tutorial' based stuff. Should be more approachable than the earlier ones, which was their biggest flaw.

Project Eternity, again looks more approachable. Definitely take a look.

@Everyone: Any from my list that people haven't heard of? Old school RPG's fans should definitely check out Legend of Grimrock. So cheap, for such quality.

Defiance. Out on Tuesday.

Played the Beta and its a bit like Borderlands 2, but with more players. Very good beta and I may take up GAMEs offer to trade in two titles for it.

Erm...

Beyond Two Souls
Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn
The Walking Dead - Season 2
The Last of Us

Probably a couple of others that are skipping my mind.

You can add MGS5 to that list. It looks like it could be on the level of Snake Eater.

I still have Age of Wonders 2. Can only remember the light wizard that rode a reptile and had a stick. Can remember being beaten by the AI. I was bad at strategy games then and I probably would still fail at it now. Think it was turn based.

I did think about backing Project Eternity but Baldur's Gate kinda put me off DnD with random difficulty spikes. It probably shouldn't have, as I liked pickpocketing people, lockpicking drawers and rooms and seeing different conversation options with charisma and different outcomes depending on what you picked.
