As i was searching through nintendo software/ hardware i just realised that unlike every other modern tv console, it had no light gun. And i checked and could not see any light gun games. I wondered if anyone knew why nintendo never made a light gun for the 64. It could of made a big difference because about every other game is not original these days, house of the dead, time crisis, etc. And i think that if they did, it would of sold well. I can't see the reason for this?

I don't really think Nintendo games need lightguns, well, certainly not on the N64 with the Z-trigger button!
The same may also apply to the GC pad, as it also has a Z button, but in a different place.
The only real succesfull gun we had was the NES gun, for games like Duck Hunt, and the SNES one looked good, but wan't really all that good in the end. Did you also notice how similar the SNES gun looks to the one used in the Mario Bros. movie!!
I don't think we need guns anymore, as you cannot move around with them, as you usually move automaticlly.
They'd be good for training modes like the one in Perfect Dark, but you wouldn't be able to use a pad to look around at your own free will.
