Just like to tell everyone about a great magazine called PSI2, I hadn't seen it before and thought I'd give it a try. The DVD is nothing special up against PSW or PSM2 but it is cool being an 8cm :-D

The second disc comes with bootable cheats for about 4 games and 2 YAbasic games, pants because YAbasic doesn't support sound but still a nice bonus, I hear next issue comes with a free version of Region X (the full package)

worth a look in for regular readers of other magazines :-)

In the PS2 manual it says 8cm discs have to be played when the console is horizontal but later adds use a special holder to use 8cm in the vertical posistion, anyone ever seen one? nope

On the codejunkie forums, someone was complaining about the 8cm disks because of this very reasons. And they admmited to the fault. Apparently, if someone trys to put an 8cm disk in a verticle drive, it may jam up the disk drive.

Nobody (even the person who was complaining) has tried it, but the magazines publishers do not reccomend it, and say that even if it didn't jam up the drive, it probably wouldn't read the disk. So I guess things have to be done horizontally.

I Just looked on their website www.dvdregionx.com - yes they can get rid of the green screen - If it doesn't work straight away they give you codes to enter to sort it. I couln't see any mention of lip synch problems though.

Free Region X?!

Cool, I'll get me that. Does that sort out the lip-synch problems and remove the green screen when using a proper scart lead?

If so, I'll get it!

Oh, when does it go on sale?
