So a while ago, talking about cube release games, i found to my surprise that crazy taxi is actually a direct port.
Why, i don't know. Well, i do, they figure it'll make money. But it's so old now, and has pleanty of flaws by modern standards.
Anyway, the sequel, crazy taxi 2 (obviously) follows shortly. I've not played it, i was just wondering about peoples' opinions of it - any good? Worth the money? Alternatives?

Crazy taxi 2 is out a little later. I was just wondering if it'll be any better, and less dated, than the original
Bought it for the PS2 and loved it, didnt last very long though. As soon as I got ranked No.1 I stoped playing it. Lasted a week or two though, and still good for a quick bash.
I still cant believe they are releasing the first one for the Gamecube though, surely they could have given the Gamecube Crazy Taxi 2? Or are they gonna release that later in the hope of making more money...

Simpsons Road Rage is crap so yes any Crazy Taxi is better, infact most games are better.

Crazy Taxi is good and I got all excited when it was ported to the PS2, but comparing it to today's standard it's very dated and a direct port of it to the GC isn't worth the bother (especially for £40).
If it's anything like the first one then it's nothing to be pleased about comming out!

I have the original on the DC, it's good fun and all but a lack of a real 1 player mode with some objective makes it a fun game but tiresome after a while.
Not sure about the sequel though.
Still always a good pick up and play game.

I also have Crazy Taxi 2 for DC - I actually prefer it to the original!!
