What does he mean?

This is Sniperese for "Notables are great and funny and we want people to read our stuff, but Newbies should go and jump in the lake"

Normally the message would be a little shorter, such as "We rule, sod off"

Well actually - as very little off-the-page advertising is cost effective it's no wonder that we don't do very much of it. In fact we do far less than we used to and we intend to keep a tight lid on it.

I'm actually quite tired today. Must be because its the end of the week. I'm staying up though as I want to watch Thumb Bandits.

I have a habbit for over-explaining, by the way, Afrojoe.

Yeah. I got you after the first sentence you wrote there.

I'm a bit tired. Well a lot. I'll be off to my bed soon.

Can hardly read posts, let alone write them at this time.

No. What I mean is that on ITV they have regional adverts so different adverts can appear in different parts of the country. Like I have a local shopping centre in the Midlands, that only advertises in the Midlands because it would be of no use advertising to someone in Scotland. It also costs less.

SR would probably only advertise where they had stores (if they decided to advertise) as it would be too expenisve to pay for a nationwide advert. This would mean I would miss all the adverts because there isn't an SR store anywhere near the West Midlands.
