As i, and im sure many other newbies would like to win on the gameday, i oftne find it hard to write a good gam review. i was just wondering, what does it take in a review to make it stand out?

Quite probably. Though he only chooses from the short list me and my comrades give him.

Good punctuation. Nothing annoys me more than a person who can't even put a space at the end of their sentences. You won't win if it isn't nice to read for normal human beings.

You can win for previews, it's just not as likely.

Yes.

You can write a Zelda preview, 1/2pint. It's just 'your comments on the game'.

Tricks for winning GAD 2:

1) Brown nose Snuggly. It works no end :).
2) Learn good English, then perhaps you can write a good review
3) Actually play the games you're reviewing - it's no good writing a Legend of Zelda GC review now, since you blatantly haven't played the game
4) Don't post complaints if you don't win.
5) Read the rules, perhaps they may shed light on the matter.

a good review is one that has been done over a period of time starting briefly then making it better everyday. not just "great game must bye it, it rules". one that says what its about and stuff.
