Well one of them anyway, Jedi Knight 2.

This ame is the absoloute nuts, had it for a while now and the more I play it the more I love it.

The force powers are uber cool in the later levels, walking into a room of stormtrooper just wielding a lightsaber and taking them out one by one in a shower of spark and severed arms is just so damn sweet.

Nothing like choking people to death Darth Vader style using force grip. I can't stress how cool this game is. It really does feel like you're a Jedi, the further into the game you get the more powerful you get. Taking on whole army's of Stormtroopers single handedly with a lightsaber is just so damn fun.

There's been a lot of criticism about slow down and the graphics, ignore this, there are a few problems in early levels but after a while they seem to go away and it's just a slick PC conversion type game.

If you have any intrest in Star Wars and 1st Person shooters then I urge you to pick up Jedi Knight, it fokin rocks.

Best single player 1st person shooter on the Cube, no questions asked.

Now if you'll excuse me i've got to go force push some Stormtroopers from uber high ledges and laugh at them as they scream like big girly troopers.

Mouse and Keyboard setup is excellant, a controller can never be better, but it can be just as good. It depends on the game. Standard FPS are just as good on either, but for games like JK2 I really do prefer the keyboard and mouse.

I can just assign the force powers to buttons around the arrow keys and use them all instantly, as well as three extra buttons on the side of the mouse for jumping, crouching and activating/using.

I can't imagine having to use all that on a controller with 8 buttons.

Sorry, canne agree with you there. Perfect Dark, Goldeneye, Timesplitters 2 would just not be good on pc. No matter how good your set up is, nothing beats a 4 player multiplayer on Perfect Dark or Goldeneye.

Nothing.

Sure, cs0r (Or counterstrike for normal people) can be played with tens of thousands of other people.

Nothing beats 4 people. In the same room. Huddeling round one telly, furiously going all out to try and win.

Nothing.

Mouse-Keyboard setup is balls, everyone goes on about it being easier to control but it's not. It just feels clunky having to use some crusty keyboard.

Fair enough selecting force powers is easier on PC but that's where the goodness ends.

I feckin hate playing games on my PC, don't matter how fast the thing is, it still sux.

It looks and runs much better on the PC (if you have a decent one), and also, the opening five levels or so, where you don't have any force powers, are much easier, because FPSs are naturally better on the PC. Also, the force powers are easier to use on the PC as the method for accessing them is easier (hotkeys). And even though I do think the multiplayer would be better on the GC, you can't get mods for the game, nor can you download user made missions or mission packs. And I have the extra levels from the GC version in my PC version, because they came on a magazine coverdisk, along with lots of other levels.

Hurrah! I got all the dust out my Mouse today so I can play FPS properly. It took me three months to be bothered to do anything about it. So I may just play it pretty soon.

No it's not. IMO the controls on gamecube are perfect, keyboard and mouse setup is just sluggish and just crappy compared to the Cube controller.

You don't have to have all the right video cards, graphics card et all to run it.

There's extra levels and also it has split screen multiplayer.

Anyway this game rocks, when you sart to develop ya lightsaber technique it's sooo good. I cut some Stormtroopers hand off and watched him hold his bare stump with sparks flying out, then flop to the ground like the big gay man that he was.

MWA, the game improves tenfold after that. There are battles with multiple other Jedi, the story gets more involving and more interesting and you get better Jedi powers, which allow you to throw packs of stortroopers off high ledges and listen as all their necks crack at the same time. Or you can pick them up from a distance and leave them to hover over a gaping chasm before dropping them into oblivion, or bashing them against walls untill they die. As you can see, I love this game.
