You guessed it, it will be out before Xmas 2003, the reason .... probably to distract people away from Quake 4, also due out Xmas 2003.

The latest PC Zone mag has lots of info on the best games coming out in 2003, now is the time to upgrade !

Good point. My geForce 2 MX is aging fast as well though.

It should be an easy game to tweek to you're setting, it is after all getting ported to the x-box as well, and that console doesn't even reach 1ghz in processor speed.

Hobbo, it might do with all the tweaks to the final product, anything over 1ghz with a decent 3d card should suffice

Even my 1.4 Ghz isn't going to stand up well against the power of Doom.

I think the release of Doom 3 will be around summer time next year, though I can see it slipping til winter.

I expect Quake 4 will scrape into the shops in December, don't expect to see it much before, what is the latest release date for Doom 3 ?

Good, I dislike the Quake series. I really can't stand the way Jim Rossignol sings it's praises. I reckon someone else should have reviewed UT 2003, not a Quake fan.

Quake 4 will definatly be worth looking forward to, but I doubt we'll see a release earlier than sometime next year. The game hasn't even gotten past the concept art stage yet, obviously Id are putting all their effort into Doom 3 first.

I think Quake 2 is my favourite PC game ever and GT3 is best game on PS2 - that's just my opinion.
FPS games rule - something the PS2 won't ever be able to overtake PC on

But Quake 3 was great on Graphics and Gameplay.

But of crouse they will, Thats the nature of Id Software.
