Life, love, sport etc.

Far too many sports posts obscuring the good life posts these days. Love, Life (and perhaps death) should have a seperate forum to themselves to do the posts justice. I will promise to post in it as much as I can if it does become seperate and it should encourage a few more people.

Anyone agree/disagree?

It is true that neither forum was overly popular when they were separate.

It is also true that the forums in general weren't nearly as popular.

I reckon if a 'life, love and stuff' was created now it would be very popular.

We could all help it kick off by copying some of our relevant posts in the existing 'life sport football' forum across to the new one, or when we've posted relevant stuff in chat.

And of course, we can all write plenty of new topics in there too, just to give it an initial boost.

I'd love to see it.

Erm...sounds like a good idea...despote the fact i never post there. Just doesn't seem to make sense as to why Sport is thrown in with love when the women we love hate us going off to play footie on a Sunday...or turning her soaps over to watch it...or washing and ironing our footie kits...

I seriously doubt you'd get enough people posting. Bit like when I tried to get a books forum.

Ah you've missed the problem a little. We all know and love that forum, but the problem is that sport is too dominant. (It's life,love.. and Sport) No-one has any problem with sports post but they don't rally fit in with some of the really great life/love/politis posts, and the really sad thing is that these foten just end up swamped by loads of football posts. We think that sports should have their own forum, so that the life and love posts can go at their own pace and receive the attention they deserve, equally the sports posters can have their very own forum so that their topics get their deserved attention as well.

Read the posts! The life topic is sharing it's rented accomodation with the Sports topic in the same forum, which mainly contains loads of small posts about football, which litters its room so the life topic can't get in to bed at night or bring girls in to it's forum without appologising for the sports topics mess.

The life forum needs to move out to its own little bachelor pad of a forum.

Snuuuuuuuuugly,

Please, please, please, please see if this can be done on a trial basis. We will be happy to do the work of filling the life forum, especially if it can be about life, death, love and lots of strange phenomena stuff too!

Please!!!!

I posted something to this effect in the support section and loki said that the Football forum itself wasn't popular enough when they had had one. And so any Life/Love forum would probably fare even worse.

Having said that, I really would prefer if it was a seperate forum.
