Things are not always what they seem. I can’t prove anything and I’m not clever enough to come up with some scientific concept for it all, but in basic terms, I believe that humankind has no knowledge of what goes on unseen around it.

Parallel universes are becoming a pretty rational science these days. A few years ago any scientist that put forward the theory that we were just one of a million possible universes which already exist just a tiny amount of atoms away from us would be laughed off the planet, or at least this reality. Now this seems to be just another scientific fact in the increasingly varied new forms of science that have made their place in today’s world.

Parallel universes certainly explain many things quite neatly. Alien civilisations and spacecraft sightings could simply be from a parallel earth where technology and evolution has taken a different and more advanced route, the world’s monsters such as the famous Loch Ness monster and the Jersey Devil could simply be either Dinosaurs that have somehow found their way into our reality from somewhere where they never died out, or perhaps a different form of evolution.

Likewise, ghostly images seen by so many people could be simply people trapped, not in the afterlife, but between worlds. The exorcist could simply calm them enough to send them back through to their universe or have some sort of unknown influence over the universe’s structure.

Parallel universes may well have a different gravitational structure, they may have different scientific rules altogether. There may indeed be malevolent forces at work in other universes which have found their way to ours, which would explain so called government agents which don’t exist and the infamous Men In Black that are notorious for turning up after UFO sightings and strange phenomena (more on those in another post). The possibilities are endless.

So, with these different universes around, what can we expect to happen? Well, as a whole it won’t really affect us unless those self same scientists that discovered this anomaly decide to play God and create their own new universe (possibly happening right now). If this whole theory (and it is now so much more than a mathematical certainty) is opened up to the world then we may well find that these universes can be traversed, which could lead to many exciting and dangerous possibilities.

Let’s just hope that science is working in our best interests. After all, humans are the most advanced and civilised creatures in the universe….aren’t they?!

This is based on science. I think they actually had a programme about it recently too.

The scientists were trying to find the answers to life and puzzles they had come across just didn't make sense. They then stumbled on the strange fact that there were particals which they could not see all the time, which they realised must be going between different universes parallel to ours. They believe that this is another one of the many dimension (the first 4 being the 3 physical ones and time).

This is from proper scientists, mind, people respected in the industry. It also ties in with what many people, including Stephen Hawking, were working on for the theory of the creation of the universe.

Too true and I agree with everything you said.

Nobody has any idea how we became about, there are many theroies, or of the past, few data remains... there are many things that happen that people just ignore as you said.

Life is strange and many people prefer to not think about possibilies and things.

Yep :)

I'v heard about this theory but not in the way you describe though. I thought the idea was that anything can conceivably happen so there's millions of parrallel worlds that exist which are so many degrees from our normal world. One scientist a few weeks back had the theory that if he stood in front of a machine gun and it fired then he'd live - the idea being that in al but one parrallel world he died, he however would only perceive the one where he lived - in that universe something would happen to stop him dying. The problem ? He feared that his girlfriend in this universe would see him die - only he would change universe. Its mindboggling.

I dont think UFOs, ghost e.t.c are the result of parrallel universes. UFO's have a knack of only being around when a certain tv show is on, and before that were mostly prototype planes or other more down to earth phenomenon. Yes, theres been crashes like the famed Roswell - but the truth has been lost long ago. The real explanation is probably just as intruiging, but not so unreal. Once I beleived in UFOs and all the other wacky things but now I don't. The Loch Ness Monster, Jersey Devil, theres a real explanation for them. Ghosts - thats more tricky but again there is a real reason out there waiting to be found - the occurences are just too similar and limited to be anything else.

There has got to be parrallel universes but I don't think its possible to traverse between them as only one can exist at any one time in a persons reality. Time travel would be travelling within time in one reality. Theres only one flaw though - how come if there is all these parallel universes that we're in this one ?
