So I have a question for you, which is thus:
Why do you want to be a notable so badly?
Please answer honestly, as it may help me make my mind up who to vote for...

All I'm trying to say is that people respect him (Stryke) now, without the gold name, I'm just curious as to what difference the gold makes.
I want gold because I feel I contribute to the majority of the forums. Not just the Sony forums like ssxpro. And I contribute now. Not like VemonByte did in the past.
I realise there are other worthy candidates. But whatever Goatboy says, I think I write as well, if not better than you. Thats what I think, call me boastful if you want.
I like these forums. They form a part of my day-to-day life. It's important to me that I win because it'll make me happy when I see my name in gold. Thats it. It would make a difference to me.
I'm not going to be devestated if I lose, but I won't lie and say it wouldn't affect me, because I will be disappointed if I don't win. So I guess that means it has an effect on me.
That is all.
Why? [shrugs shoulders]
A lot of other people think that they deserve it as well.
a) I think I deserve it. That's the truth.
A lot of other people think it as well.
b) I like to be told that I rule. Inferiority complex, some may say. I reckon it's my ego needs shoring up sometimes.
Same :-D
c) Gold goes with my clothes.
Hmmmm, bit suspect that one...
d) I love these forums and would like to be recognized as an important member of them, because I do feel that I contribute well to them.
Fair, and you do contribute well to them, as do a number of other people. I'd like to think myself included in that list.
However, surely that fact that you're being suggested as a possible winner shows that people recognise you as an important member? What is the difference between that and winning? The same number of people will still think highly of you whether you win or not.
What difference does the gold make, I think is what I'm trying to ask.
10 reasons in that topic.
