Not really think Ridge Racer type game but 100 times better.
Loads of crazy jumps, short cuts, go anyway where levels, guns and just a hella good game really.

A bit like F-Zero then (I loved that game on the N64)
It's a futuristic racing arcade racing game with fully explorable tracks and stuff. Doesn't sound that amazing but trust me the game owned. Well 2049 did at least..

Hydro Thunder looked cool. Never played it though.
I recently dug out my (un-sold! Yes I saw the error of my ways!) N64. I played on Rush 2049. Weirdly, it remains one of my favourite games ever. Its large, fun and alive. It rules. And a GC incarnation would be even better!
