I'll even give you a DVD ;-)

Anyway..... All i'm interested in is what you think a logo should have and why logos are so important...

The 5 things I think they need are:
1. Style
2. Basic but stand out
3. Bold
4. Original
5. Eyecatching

I think Logos are important because they represent a company. They are often displayed on just about everything a company owns, which means its very important and needs to be right.

A company such as Nike basically sell their merchandise on their logo (that little tick thingy). Would they have been such a success if their logo was a silloheute of a t**d?

Anyway, enough of logos, theyre doin my frickin head in :-D

Shall I pop his head yet? ;-)

Anyway, Im trying to do a logo for my site horleyuk.com and Ive managed to grab hold of a copy of "Adobe" which Ive heard is good for graphic rendering.

Thing is Im finding it a bit hard to get to grips with.....

I think I'll probably have a logo with the words HorleyUK on it, incorporating the UnionJack flag somewhere on it.

Hmmmm Any ideas?

Any more info on logos will help so keep it comin!

PS. What the hell is that Beetle guy on?! :-D

just because of what one person did doesn't mean no one should ever do anything again, thats just silly :p anyway, not like hes giving a prize away i'm just bored, stupid teachers getting ill, leaving me to go home early.

also, i'm still learning to read, I can write, but I can't read for crap, seems like you've already given him the advice he needs, so i'll just draw.

has anyone else done any yet? :D

1)After what happened with View and Play, I doub't anyone would enter

2)It's a joke... Can't anyone read round here? He's asking for advice on what goes in to designing a logo, not asking if anyone can do it for him.

Nevermind!!

Ok, thanks, and don't mention it. Heh, are the pixels vastly misplaced or it just a fex pixels out of line?

Your Art teacher sounds a bit "out of sync", ask your history teacher about the industrial revolution, you'd probably get more accurate information. Advertising and Logo types took over in the 70's with the dawn of commercialisation, but started in the 50's with the advent of TV... SOmething quite different from the industrial revolution...

Sorry for being harsh... won't do it again **unless provoked**;-)
