See as you go to bed at night and you close your eyes for the first time... do you ever see weird things...
Let me explain
When I close my eyes first time... it is black but in my mind or something I see lots of colours but faint... errr the only way I can explain it is zooming through a warehouse full of boxes full of coloures footballs.
I know I sound absolutely mental but it has puzzled me since i was a kid... I think it's something to do with time and space... and weird x-files stuff.

I'm talking about right after you close your eyes.
If colourful objects are still formultaing in your eyes a while after closing them, then there's something a little wrong. :-)

Thats great! That would be pretty good if you got depressed wouldnt it.
Some people heard voices of relatives or friends that have died, was his voice of anyone in particular?

Are you speaking about the split second when you close your eyes? O after you have had them closed for a bit?
The first would be possible, but the second is against the thesis of matter.

No, because we were discussing this topic in Science, just last week to be exact.

Nup, because these things are still in contact with your eye, but are 'moving out', so you see them while they are still in your eyelid, but after a small amount of time, they seem to vanish, because they are no longer in contact with your eye.

I normally hear them if I am paranoid about hearing them. Therefore I assume it is a vicious cycle created by my own imagination.

He is totally wrong. Everything he is saying is against science.
You see things as light is reflected onto objects and then into your retina. If you are are closed then there is no light reflecting so anything you see is purerly in your mind.
And about "little bits of light still been on in your eye" - Light isnt substance and cannot be stored. If you shine a torch into a jam jar then put the lid on really fast, the light doesnt stay inside, or does it...
If you have aural hallucinations, start worrying, your probably schizophrenic.
