Ferguson seems to think that being in a close title race will mean that United will be in prime form to take on Europe's best. Looking at past seasons I have to agree. In 98-99 they won the Champions League whilst being in a closely fought title rcae. Since then, they have walked the league and subsequently found they couldn't raise their game enough. I think they'll win the league, but I predict it will go down to the last day.

Yes, United have come back, but only mainly against smaller sides like Southampton and Derby, with the exception of Newcastle. It would be a real comeback if we'd have beaten the likes of Arsenal and Liverpool.
I still havemy doubts as to wether or not United will win the league, as the Champions' League is only about to re-start, and that could really effect our league form!
But currently being top of the league, I feel there is a chance that United can retain the title once again!

I think Arsenal will win the league, even with the worst back line in the league.

Lol, where have you been the last couple of weeks? They have been winning games, AND without the help of the referees. I think on paper, Liverpool have the best chance of winning the league, it's just finding consistency(I.E, beating the lower teams) which seems to be our downfall

Yes, they had a bad spell, but havn't they already came back? How many victories did they have on a trot? 9? I would class that as a comeback. If they keep up their form up for the rest of the season, then yes, they will win the league.
