Why do some singles got £5 when the album is usually £10

Okay, i admit it, I used to love them. I used to think it was really cool to listen to a band who didn't always sing in English, but then I realised they were just art school t*****s, who were rich and din't need to do what they were doing. Still, Hey Dude was a great song.

Well they were a 'mysterious' band....
