Hey there, everyone, just wanted to make everyone aware about this game. I got it on Friday, as did many people, and frankly, it kicks major bootay!!! The AI is really cool, and anyone up to mission 3 will know what I mean when I say that. It is a great game, and thanks to my new PC (and GeForce 3 titanium 500) I can have all the options on Max, and a resolution of (dun dun dun) 1600 x 1200. Brilliant!!!

Kind of a boasting topic this, but the game is great, although you do need a good PC to get the most out of it. Lucky I do, then! :-D

Has anyone got a "hard" saddle they're saddled with and may want to swap for a softer model :D

Wah-hey, I just completed that one yesterday. Everytime you kill a sniper, just press F5 (quicksave) then if you die, load it, and you'll know where the next sniper is! Hope that helped!

I very rarely experienced lag on the demo, but even with my cable modem the people with high pings on the full game REALLY slow everything down

Hopefully this can be resolved in future patches

I am on the 2nd mission-when you have to make a dash to the train. I only had one go on it though and got killed so I will continue playing tomorrow.

By the way have you played it online yet? Its really good even with the 56k modem. Ok it does have a bit of slowdown but I still managed to get 8 frags in a 15 frag deathmatch.

Overall the game rules and it is by far the best FPS ever.

The sub level? I didn't like that, WAY too short!

The dash to the train was just too easy, as soon as the doors opened, I was there practically!

I just finished the 3rd Level - Omaha - and can't help feel disappointed. Once the novelty of storming up the beach fades aways and you realise that the AI controlled guys on your side are pre scripted to die anyway then it loses its impact a little. On the plus side level 2 - the u boat one - was excellent, especially the dash to the train as the bot blows !

Anyone else think that the D Day level is a little lacking ?

Only on the 5th mission? There are only 6 missions in the game

Someone tell me this game is crap so I dont have to buy it :) After seeing the advert and hearing everyones praises I am V.close to ordering it.

What do you mean, 'the garand for Omaha'?
