What subject matter featured in a videogame would be a step too far?

For example: Imagine a game which puts you in the shoes of a serial killer wherein you would have to meticulously plan and murder prostitutes. The aim of the game would be to avoid detection and arrest for as long as possible.

Would this cross the line of acceptability and decency?

Other examples might be a porn star sim, or a game that puts you in the role of a pimp or a peeping tom.

Is there any place where videogames just can't go, or do you think that as long as games like these would be rated 18, anything goes?

Do you mean the game Grand Theft Auto 3? You can kill prostitutes and you have to avoid getting arrested.

I'll only buy the new TR game if it is confirmed that Lara's assets bounce and jiggle when she runs.

Making another Tomb Raider, regardless of the content, I think is far too much.

In most of the Tomb Raider games, Lara blows away all sorts of animals, including white tigers - an endangered species.

Anything to do with abusing kids or animals is wrong. Other than that i reckon it's anything goes, with 18 certificates on stuff like GTA3.

What about Jesus versus Satan, or Hilter versus Churchill in a historical beat-em-up. Would this be acceptable entertainment?

I think there are a lot of things that are unacceptable, not only in real life but also to be included as part of games. Sex scenes and aything to do with any abuse to children is just plain wrong and a developer would have to be very stupid to include anything like that.

I think people are excepting that games aren't as bad as the press claim and that the likes of GTA3 are suitable but deserve the 18 certificate so who knows what we will see in games in the future, GTA3 could be the limit or it could just be the start.

How about a game which puts the player in the role of a serial killing, porn film starring, pimping peeping tom?
Now that would be one hell of a game!

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
Second to none...
So far the services you provide are second to none. Keep up the good work.
