How long do people think the N64 has left to live?
With games like Perfect Dark, Zelda: The Continuing Sage, Turok 3, A Resident Evil game, Top Gear Rally 2, and a bunch of other wicked games this year. How long will the N64 live for? Specially with the PS2 and Dolphin on the horizon how much longer can the N64 last?
Cooky
It is annoying about the wait for the Gamecube. Its bound to be good, but why so damn long!
It's supposed to be easy to develop for. That means, well, at least an hour of solid work for Mario, two for Zelda. In fact you could have about 40 games out in three days.
(Yes. Right.)
The N64 is designed for ALL AGES and most games for both sexes and that's why some games have "cute" graphics and others have mild blood, etc. So are you saying that Perfect Dark, Turok series, Goldeneye, etc have babyish graphics?
Sounds like a sad playstation fan to me.
My second choice would be Bond: The World is Not Enough. This has just been released in the states and is getting great reviews. Although I dont think it will be as good as Goldeneye it will definately be another top FPS and well worth a look.
If they are both released in time for Christmas I would really like to get Star Wars: Battle for Naboo and Indiana Jones: The Infernal Machine. Star Wars B.F.N has been made on a much improved Rouge Squadron game engine, which was brilliant, and is looking stunning. Indiana Jones T.I.M has been completley redesigned for the N64, and although it is still the basic P.C game, it plays, sounds and sometimes even looks better.
Just got Mario Tennis and would recommend anyone who has an N64 to get this game. It is another quality Nintendo title.
Looks like we may have to wait till early next year to get Conkers Bad Fur Day and Banjo Tooie. And with Dinosaur Planet, Excitebike 64, WWF No Mercy, Mickeys Speedway U.S, Paper Mario and a host of Pokemon titles all on the way, who says the N64 is dead?
