Internet rumours are claiming that Perfect Dark Zero is unlikely to be released until 2004. 'Internal problems' have been blamed, but Rare, who have even to confirm the game's existance, have said, "it's all speculation."

On a similar note, Starfox Adventures has been removed from Nintendo's US schedule. "The game is unlikely to be finished in time for March," said a Rare spokesperson. "It'll be ready when it's ready. But we're keen to get it out - it's been a while since Rare released a game."

***Taken from NGC***

What are your thoughts on this? Afterall, it is only 'internet rumours' that have talked about Perfect Dark.

But I suppose that Starfox Adventures is now delayed.

Your thoughts?

I'm pretty sure Rare will make this game, and it is probably already in development.

As they said, they haven't had a game out in a while, and they would like to release what would be a big selling one to fill in the gap that they hadn't released anything in.

Rare will definetly make perfect dark zero.

With all the praise and popularity of perfect dark it would be stupid of them not to.

As 2004, being release date i dont think so they'd most likely bring out near end of this year, early next year.

naaa - keep it a FPS, add more guns, less aliens, and huge bad guys in giant stompy robots with multiba...... sorry lost it!

Anyway, keep the base of the first game, minus Elvis and Skedar, and expand adding huge levels, and many many more brilliant features - plus online play.

All i want is another GoldenEye with Jo Dark in it - And about 40 levels!!!!

hopefully Rare are making PD:zero HUGE!

Maybe a game which involves both 3rd person and first person elements. It better be anyway, if we are waiting that long it best be somthin real good. Hopefully they are working on somthin that can be a MGS2 beater.

Who knows what RARE are up to...

Well Rare are more likely to confirm the games existence first, before confirming gameplay elements! ;)

Is there any truth to the rumours that PD:zero is infact 3rd person?

I think Perfect Dark will more than likely come out next year!

2004 is a bit toooo long for them to be workin' on a FPS!

Starfox Adventures has been delayed in the US until sometime in June, along with Eternal Darkness. It's expected that we'll see Starfox over here in time for Christmas, along with Mario Sunshine.
I wouldn't be surprised if we don't see Perfect Dark Zero till 2004. Remember the atrocious delays concerning the N64 original??

Starfox was due for a May release in the US but as they said, it has been delayed.
