I'm like Ninty through and through so I like enjoy there games, originality and imagination. But I was like wondering whether you could say convert me. Yeh! It's like a challange in it's own right because I won't like be persuaded easily. I will like choose a suitable statement or two and consider whether I have like been foolish to support Ninty all my life.

Errrrr.....Perfect Dark, Goldeneye, even Half Life. Red Faction is no way the king of shooters. It is quite good but I'll point out that it is only the best shooter on PS2 because of a lack of options.
And that's even IF it's the best shooter on PS2.

Errrrr.....Perfect Dark, Goldeneye, even Half Life. Red Faction is no way the king of shooters. It is quite good but I'll point out that it is only the best shooter on PS2 because of a lack of options.
And that's even IF it's the best shooter on PS2.

i didn't like 007 much at all...or rather i don't think it is worth shelling out 35-40 quid for it.
way too short and not that hard either...the bond moves were all so obvious...they spelt it out all for you which just made it rather dull.

Ok, trying to change someones loyalties to a console would be very hard to say the least, i have tried it many times before with my friends and they come up with the same things all the time, such as if you tell them the games that make a console so good they will come up with a game that they think is better. And thats what will happen all the time, there biased to there console, as are most of us. This topic was not started to really get the person to change, it was just to get us Sony fans make fools of our selfs in trying to change this person, who i think will soon come and post again saying that we failed and so the PS2 is crap. Basicly it is very hard to change someones loyalties.
However, it can sometimes happen. I was once a through and through ninty, owning a Nes for my very first console. I loved the machine and still do, i still play on it now and own 25 games for it. I even went and bought a Snes sometime later. But the thing is, down that time i also bought a Mega Drive and PC, so my loyalties changed throughout. Though i enjoy playing most consoles, recently i have become more a Sonyphile than anything else, the PS1 offered me what i wanted from my games, a good balance of platformers, RPG's and sport games, and the PS2 does this too. I prefer sony now to any other company, but i still play on the others, i even bought a GBA the other day.
Your main loyalties may not change, but that dont mean you cant enjoy the other console too.

To tell the truth I wasn't really gonna change my mind because I'm a true Ninty but it is interesting to see your arguments... especially Kid Rock. NEway I've liked the quality of games on all consoles. I mean my fav game at the moment is Shenmue 2 on the Dreamcast. But I'm Ninty because of past experience. The first console I got was a GB. Top class so because of Ninty's cheap prices and quality I've stuck with 'em.

The PS2 has some of the best FPS around Timesplitters 2, Half Life, Deus ex, Red Faction and many more but do you really need convincing??
