This is the moment many of you thought would never happen.

VOTE EDGY!

This is your chance newbies to finally have some say around here.

Most people who have been voted Notables have ended up bullying the newbies, ignoring them, and even telling them to get off the board! And then they disappear themselves visiting on only a few occasions expecting everyone to lick their boots.

Well nows your chance to be heard!

Vote Edgy and I will do what I can to the best of my abilities to make things a lot more fair around here. I believe in equality on the forums and I have continuously campaigned to get rid of the "rank" system that is here on this board.

Members are generally ignored if they don't frequently chat to each other on MSN, or if they don't have a gold/olive notable status. If a topic is started by a Newbie, expect there to be a lot of abuse hurled towards the newbie. If a topic is started by a regular, don't expect may replies. If a topic is started by a Notable, expect lots and lots of replies, most of which is spam, but makes the Notable look even better!

That's why I will campaign to make things more equal if voted as Notable! Even if that means I will, in future if successful, lose my Notable status.

You've heard all the campaign messages from everyone else giving false promises just so that they can become more popular. Well, I'm not promising anything other than I can only do what I can do, but I need the support from all you fed up Newbies and even Regulars who are sick of the system.

So

VOTE EDGY!

Do I sense fear from you? The fear of the possiblity of losing the gold name?

lol, you're taking this very seriously!

I don't believe I am talking rubbish though. It's how I've seen things go on ere since the notable system. I have to admit things were much better before.

Yeah, and they still are. You are, anyway.

Don't even TRY to gain sympathy votes by making others out to be something they're not. It's disgusting, and you underestimate the intelligence of people on here.

Getting rid of the system will eradicate that kind of behaviour from those who think they are better than the new members.

Surely most of the regulars posted a load of rubbish at some stage.

I disagree with this thread...

The notables aren't the ones bullying the newbies, the regulars are. Particularly the newer regulars, who jump around 'spam spotting'. You know the ones, who shout at someone for using netspeak and use five exclamation marks to emphasise their point...

I see what you mean, sorry....

Maybe multiple usernames should be banned then.

Shouldn't that mean that they can vote, just not campaign then?

They changed it after the last election because people were just signing up as loads of different identities and voting themselves.
