I very often find myself disappointed by a sequel, but not always. It's probably only about 8-9 times out of 10 disappointment.

The red smartie dude sounds like Cool Spot. I remember renting that game out for the Megadrive back in the 90's.
Now that sounds good! For some odd reason that's reminded me of that game on the Mega Drive + other consoles where you are that red smartie dude and are on a beach trying to dodge crabs...weird :)
They're going to replace the blood with fanta and your main weapon is now going to be a lollipop.

Surely nothing can beat the original, and it will just be a let down as everyone will be expecting ultra gore and violence, which won't be there! I've not actually looked into this at all, so I could be wrong, but surely it has to be pretty poor!?
