I don't care if there was one on FOG (Chat)

It isn't going to survive there so I put this one here.

All you do is say what you think about The Sims games.

I don't really know how you can call The Sims crap. Sure, it gets repetitive and boring after hours of play, but it's hugely entertaining if you haven't played it for a while. My sister plays it on a regular basis and she's never bored on. Now considering that she's a hyperactive pre-adolescent, that is an amazing feat, which is nearly impossible, not only with my sister, but most people of her standing. At least there are add-ons to keep most of us "occupied" I suppose. Can they satisfy are reasonably insatiable hunger for more caged? Me, yes, but I take it that the most of you yearn for more, no?

I agree. I made the mistake of buying the Sims only to find out it was an inane piece of crap.

Still it made my own life seem interesting..

The Sims is a pointless game. Much like Sim City, and all the other Maxis releases.

The whole idea is that you have freedom to do what you want, use your own imagination, and see something successful created.

The Sims, unlike mosts games these days, is fun for the sake of playing - not for the sake of achieveing some 'goal'.

The sims is quite possibly the most boring game i have ever had the misfortune of playing. My brother has spent £50+ on the exp packs, and all he gets each time is about 200 new items to put in his house - and then he designs the same house all the time! Now change - just one design, and he does it over and over and over again - and then creates more sims, lives their pointless lives for them, gets them to their top job, and starts again - WHAT IS THE POINT?

Anyone know what The Sims On-line will be like???

Well all I know is that you play people over the internet.

It is a claimable prize as well for GAD and they'll send you it when it comes out. I might have a look into it there.

It's meant to be really good too. I'd love to play my mates over the net and get into fights with their guys. Ahhh, that would be good.

I could play some of you too.
