Anyone know anything about this channel? It's a Sky channel (obviously) which supposedly gives you all the backstage info as well as the practise, qualifying and the race. And it cost £8 each race.

Now I'm a big fan of F1, but if I can watch qualifying and the race on ITV then I don't think I'll bother paying £8 thank-you very much...

Thoughts?

Come on you guys! You cannot be seriously telling me that the ITV F1 coverage is worse than the BBC! No Way.

I remember when the BBC coverage started about 10 minutes before the race did, we'd maybe get a grid walkabout, but that would be it. ITV gets the Team Principles up in the studio about an hour before the race, they interview drivers and give the background info on tracks, loads of good stuff like that. When did the BBC ever get an interview with Bernie Ecclestone??

The only thing that sucks about the ITV coverage is the ads.

Viewing numbers of F1 events have decreased for last couple of years, the main reason being the switch from BBC to ITV. The show is rubbish and lacks the entertainment of a football match or even a rugby match. The only thing I thought was alright was Murray Walker but now he has left ITV are going right down the pan.

It's like what they do in Germany and elsewhere in Europe.

I would definitely do it. Interactive F1, no ads. ITV's coverage sucks in my opinion.

Ant, I have heard a little about this.

Apparently they have coverage of the whole weekend. That's Friday morning right up to post race press conference.

They have coverage of all of the practice periods as well as qualifying and the race.

I don't think you have to sign up for a whole season, so itmight be worth doing it for just one race to see what it's like.

If I had Sky, I'd be giving it a go...
