"WipEout Fusion: Too easy?"

I received WF through the post this morning, and had a quick play on my lunch break.

I went straight in for a "Challenge", in which I came thrid and got a bronze, and a new weapon straight away.

After that I decided to try a league. I won all three races, and the whole league on my first attempt.

I'm not trying to show off or anything here, but I really hope it gets harder otherwise I think I'll finish it this weekend...

Anyone?

I mean 12 hours an eveing not 10, doh!

Johnnyson, even if you won every race etc first go you must have played for at least 12 hours to complete "well over 50%", I don't call 10 hours an evening.

I have completed roughly

35% Arcade
100% League
20% Challenge
0% Zone
Time Trial not unlocked yet

42% overall
90% of features.

Will have good go tomorrow though.

I hired out Wipeout Fusion for a bit of a challenge, since I'm normaly not all that good at racing games, but before I returned it I had completed the game well over 50%, and I only had the game out for one night! Too easy? Yes indeed!

Since Saturday night my game progression looks like this:

I am finding the Thea League fairly difficult. I think that's the name of it anyway - the 13th league.

I unlocked Time Trial yesterday but I haven't really played it.

To progress in Zone Mode (and increase your overall percentage) you have to reach Zone 30. Basically that means survive 300 seconds - 5 minutes - something I can't seem to do on Zone 2!!! Got up to Zone 34 on Zone 1 with 476 million points and that gained me rank 18 on that leaderboard on the official site for the UK.

Done all the challenges now with gold too, except for Aurocom (where I have 2 bronzes and the rest golds) and Piranha (because I haven't unlocked it yet).

I've completed 70% of league, the first seven race series is a nightmare, twice I have lost by 1 POINT, how anoying.
Have done about 33% overall, it's all very time consuming.
Do you have to beat the top score on each Zone Mode Track to get the percentage up ?

*slaps Ginger round the face*


60% for Time Trial, eh? Got about another 10% to go then. Shouldn't take too long considering I've just figured out how to upgrade as well.

But it's school tomorrow! Sigh......

You have to complete 30% to unlock Zone Mode and 60% to unlock Time Trial, my post yesterday was wrong.
Slap me on the wrist if you wish.

Oh, how do you find the league I'M in?

Go to National Zone Mode and then click on UK. Go to Zone 1 and I am positioned 18th.

That's if that's what you're asking. Otherwise, you probably couldn't care less. :-D
