You are casually driving through Shoreside Vale past the Cochrane Dam when.. you see there is a new icon on your radar "R"! Who's "R" you wonder? Surely not Ray again? You drive in it's direction but to your disappointment, it's not Ray it's some scrawny kid sitting on a plane in the airport.
"Who are you?" you ask as you get out your car.
"Rakuga," he says scratching his nose. "I heard you were getting bored with GTA3 since you had done all the missions and couldn't do any of the other stuff."
"How did you know?"
"I know evvvvveeeerrrytttthingggg!" the boys head rotates around, there is a snapping nose at 180 degrees. Rakuga shouts "OWW!" and pushes it back in place.
"Okay..."
"Anyway. I got some missions for you if you want them!"
"You do?"
"Yeh 14 of 'em! Want to do them for me?"
"Sure," you say happily awaiting some much needed new missions after not finding those last ten hidden packages!
"Print off this list and try and pass every challenge to add some spice to GTA 3 now you have completed it.. Any cheats you need can be found on ukcheats.com," he says. He adds "Have fun!"
He gives you a list then gets in a car and drives off. You never see him again. The list reads as follows...
Challenge 1:
Nice and easy this but it's great fun. On the first island get the Banshee and rig it with a bomb. Drive it near a carjacker and arm it just as he pulls you out of your car to nick it. Then watch him blow up as he drives away - the fool.

Challenge 2:
Start a new game, get the tank by cheating and fly to the third island using the "Pedestrians fist fight each other" and "Improved Car handling cheat" (See ukcheats.com). Basically drive really fast, firing turret behind you, after 8 or so fires you will lift off ground.

Challenge 3:
Fly a dodo from the airport without cheats to the second island. Try to go in a straight direction along the runway until you are lifted off the ground. Keep holding X and avoid sudden movements. See if you can make it..

Challenge 4:
Get a sniper rifle and loads of other weapons and go on top of the police station. Fire at a few people till you get police on you then keep attack the police till you get the army on you. Now your objective is to steal a tank and drive it to your base on the third island, park it in the garage and save. Don't cheat. You may start with armour and any other weaponry you wish

Challenge 5:
Make yourself unarmed and without armour. Kill yourself or something :). Go to the harbour near the big boat was/is. Now activate the "Crazy pedestrians" cheat. Your objective is to get to the roof of the Cochrane Dam - the helicopter exchange pad. You may steal weapons from people by killing them with your bare hands, steal cars, even steal tank if you must. If you die. YOU LOSE!

Challenge 6:
One above to easy? You must finish at the helicopter exchange pad with all the weapons in the game - this means you have to steal them from people.

One above still way to easy? You must make it there ON FOOT. Maahha!

Challenge 8:
Time yourself for this mission. Drive to a spot of your choice and mow down everyone in sight. You must shoot every person you see. You may not lose the police. Survive without being killed by the police for ten minutes.

Go to St Marks in a highly populated mafia area. Survive for 5 minutes.

Challenge 10:
Steal a guys taxi and let him chase after you. Pick up a prossie while the taxi driver is still chasing you. Then lure taxi driver into your base and drive into your garage with the prossie and taxi now both near the car. Jump out the car and look them both in!

Challenge 11:
Get a six star wanted level and go to Portland Harbor. Now drive a car of your choice (not tank) from the Harbour to the Callahan Bridge without getting your car destroyed - avoid tanks!

Challenge 12:
Win the Turismo race with a taxi. Then try it with a Perennial for a reeaally big challenge.

Challenge 13:
Fly a dodo or tank using the cheats outlined in challenge 2 on top of a building on Staunton Island. As you go through it it will look like the game Rez and then you will randomly go on a piece of road.

I think I'll end on this one since it's the 14th.... Get to the ghost town. I ain't done this yet but I hear there is a ghost town at the utmost north of Shoreside Vale. You will have to fly there somehow. Tell me if you find it!

Hope my new missions give you endless fun and add a bit of life to GTA3. A wonderful game, but once you do all the missions gets sadly a bit on the boring side - apart from the occasional lark about!

Darkel, a tramp.....or a secret assasin. No one except the producers can explain. BUT apparently before sept the 11th Darkel played a big part in the game. News has slipped from the developers that Darkel set u all the rampage style missions (Instead of those skull icons) He hid in different places and if u found him then he gave u a mission and moved on. Originally he was to be found in the Harbout tunnel (Place with 4 tramps).
The missions he set u included hijacking a jumbo jet and crashing it in to the stadium (That is why the stadium seems so useless now). Also in the last mission he apparently revealed to u that he was after donald love and wants him assasinated. U have to do that. Then once u done it u have to meet Darkel at the observitry (Accessed by that tunnel thats the main focus of this thread) and there he commits suicide or something. After that that was supposidly game over 100%
All this was slipped from rockstar on the official forums. Apparently they wanted to know peoples views on it and whether they should add him in the x-box version and PC version (They feel they can now the events of sept 11 are behind us).
No one....however knows if Darkel is in the PS2 version. The person who did his voice is displayed in the manual in the credits (Voice actors) but are not sure whether he is in it.
Certainly this Darkel would explain the following
-Why the kill frenzies aren't better. (Darkels versions of these would have been better bt obviously they had to take e'm out.)
-What the point of the stadium was
-What happens to Donald Love.
-What point the blocked tunnel is.
-Where those last couple of missions are!!
