This book rules. It's done by Private Eye, and it's got really dumb answers to questions on Weakest Link, WWTBAM and so on. I'll post some of my favourites, and you'll laugh:

"What kind of animals do euqestrians ride?"
"Fish."

"When was the Battle of Hastings?"
"1866."

"What did MPs recieve for the first time in 1911?"
"Guns."

"What was the name of the scandal involving Bill Clinton?"
"Watergate."

"What is the only marsupial to live in America?"
"Dolphins."

"Who wrote The Lord of the Rings?"
"Enid Blyton."

"Which of the 7 deadly sins begins with 'L'?"
"Love"

"Who is the 1st man named in the Bible?"
"God..err...no...Jesus."

"In what year of the 90's did badminton and basketball become an Olympic sport?"
"1984"

"..He was a very boring Prime Minister, lost the last election, name is a rank in the army?"
"Al Gore...NO! BUSH!"

"Who is the President of the U.S.A?"
"Pass."

"What colour of the rainbow is also a fruit?"
"Violet."

made me laugh...More when I can be bothered.

Man I heard about that American one, that IS bad

But I can sort of understand the battle one, I only know because I watch a lot of the discovery channel etc

I reckon if you asked a lot of people I know they wouldn't have a clue

Funny stuff.

On a similer note, has anyone seen this program called 'The Simpsons'? It's a new version of Big Brother, but they put a cartoon lens over the camera, so everything is cartooney. Theres this guy called Omer...he says silly stuff.

Good good, at least someone found them funny. We all had a good laugh about these on a bus trip down to London for a Politics trip.

I wonder how many would have found them unfunny if Grix hadn't posted...

My whole history class had trouble with the name of a battle in the war of the roses,I said that the civil war was one of the battles and one of the boys said that the battle of hastings was a battle in that war.We both got th p*** taken out of us by the history teacher.

Hilarious stuff! :)

A boy in my class once said in History that the name of a famous artist, inventor and scientist of the Renaissance period was Leonardo Di Caprio.

"When was the Battle of Hastings?"
"1866."

I asked a girl in a grammer school that question a few weeks back, she said "I don't know I don't take history!" So I told her it was general knowledge and she said "1966"

What a slating by me she got after :-)
