The ps2s fan is really noisy but when i insert quake3 my playstation throws a fit and gets really noisy and the same with dvds have any of you got any tips to quiet it down.

some CD's don't play up, i hav'ent had a probalem with Timespliters or Fifa 2001, although TS takes a long time to load.
PS2 CDs are awful, they spin like crazy and take forever to load, DVDs from now on please.
My copy of Max Payne tends to freeze quite a lot!!
Half-life makes terrible noises, and it has froze on me twice.
Same here ith those two....although the first copy of quake 3 i had was bodged coz nothing would load properly and the ps2 kept making clicking noises....took it back got another....same prob.....got it from another shop the third time and then i was fine...
damn CD games. Coudnt they have put them all on DVDs? Pritty stupid when they put full games on a CD when a few months ago they sent me a short trailer for Agent under fire on a bloody DVD.
I have the same thing with Quake III!! Also Pro Evolution Soccer!!
