The ps2s fan is really noisy but when i insert quake3 my playstation throws a fit and gets really noisy and the same with dvds have any of you got any tips to quiet it down.

Most of my games are quiet as mute church mice. Half Life, Max Payne, no problems with them!

Street Fighter EX3 however... at one point I was fairly sure my PS2 was going to take off!

I saw it on the rolling demo of PSM2, and I just from lookin at it, I`d have to agree with the score in the mag. It seemed quite slow paced, with a sort of "Rascal in glue" feel to it.

Maybe I'll give it a miss then. :D

41 out of a 100 in psm2, 4/10 in official mag. comes in a box aswell.

What I meant was:

There would be less piracy. This would mean games developers would make more money on each game. Because of that, the game would make more profits, and if the publisher wanted to they could pass some of the profits onto us by making the games cheaper.

Talking of cheapness, I've noticed that Monsters Inc. on the PS2 is only £29.99. Does anyone know if its any good? I can't find reviews of it anywhere! (Sorry for the topic change.)

I nearly bourght Q3 on ex-rental today for £10 but changed my mind.

i rented Quake III and it makes the PS2 sound awful, hopefully no good games will have this problem

My noisiest game is Wipeout Fusion... but thats only because I like to turn the volume up for it. :-)

If a game is on cd shoudent it be cheaper anyway?

I think all the games should be on DVD as well. Not only would it be much quieter, but it would also make pirating the games much more difficult. This could end up making games cheaper aswell as quieter!
