I've been banging on about how "Sexy Beast" is a fantastic film, one of the best Brit Gangster films ever.
I've told you over and over that this movie rules and you should watch it.
And I have been proved correct.

Ben Kingsley has been nominated for a Best Supporting Actor Oscar for his role as Don Logan in "Sexy Beast"
Kneel Before Me, puny mortals.
I can't imagine Don Logan accepting an award, that'd be an acceptance speech worth taping

I was all ready to watch this on Sky Box Office the other day, before the Football was turned on in favour.

I tried to rent Sexy Beast end of last year.
Took the video to the counter, waited 5 minutes, then got told that it's not available for rent anymore.

I was going to rent this from the libery, but I got Rebal Without A Cause instead.

And the amusing thing is, within 2 weeks you'll see Sexy Beast back on the shelves with "Oscar Nominated" all over it, and then the cow people will buy it and say "Yeah, I loved it when it 1st came out, excellent film." whilst trying to hide their copy of Time Out that recommends the trendy DVDs to own that month.
But at least Jonathan Glazer gets respect and some more people will watch it.
