Help, I've attempted to load a CGI script to my site www.brisca.f1drivers.com (please take a look) for a feedback form. The page that uses it is NOT available from the site yet - Coz I can't get it to work!! If I use the submit button I keep getting the 404 page cannot be found message. Should the path to the Script be cgi-bin or cgi-shl. The support pages say bin, but the script is stored in the cgi-shl folder. I have sent a query to support (3 days ago, but no response yet!!) What is going wrong?? (The script is formmail.pl freely available on the Web) Oh and should it need the file extension changing from .pl to .cgi - Sorry to be a gasbag but I've tried everything!!

Yep I have got many scripts to work on Freeola, ranging from guestbooks, feedback forms, password requests for secure pages, hit counters. in fact every script has worked as long as it does not require SSI (server side includes) as currently freeola does not support this. try http://www.freeperlcode.com for a huge range of scripts for all needs.

Hi,

I got a few working (more or less!) on my site www.trueblue.org.uk (Please note my site is not fully operational yet - still in design phase!!). For example there's a message/discussion board from (www.robplanet.com) and the form mailing script works really well (from www.worldwidemart.com/scripts/ ) You should try http://cgi.resourceindex.com/ for some other scripts which I have yet to implement. I'm having trouble with the "tell a friend" script on my site - this is my fault though as it was working at one point, before I started playing with it ;o)

Hope this helps,

Matt
