It's coming to the PC next year, so i guess that's half way there ;-)

If XBOX got their clammy hands GTA, that would surely begin the demise of Sony, as Microsoft have a tendency to wipe out all opposition...

I dunno, I reckon it'd be great if it came out on the 'Cube as Nintendo are still working to destroy their kiddy image.

I think they probably should but they won't be doing i for a about 5 years i think because wasn't it GTA who has a thing that says they won't make GTA for any other console other than PS2 for 5 years?

I think Sony will keep the brand, as they'll have priority. It's the Playstation 2's main strength over it's competitors.

As Tom said, Rockstar's exclusivity contract runs out in 2004.

Could well see it on Xbox.
Or more likely, we'll see the next installment (already revealed as being released in Winter 2003) appearing on multi-format in '04.
Makes good business sense, regardless of what red-faced zealots may say about "It's ours"
