TheSum;P's mates are getting PS2's for christmas and are getting GTA VC with them to play - Even though none of them are old enough to play it probably - Sorry I digress.
I think this is certainly a valid reason why you should not consider negotiating any future deals allowing you to make upcoming games on any other format apart from Sony.

I don't think XBox should because many of my friends are getting a PS2 for Christmas and are getting GTA VC with it.
My friend Robert since June he was telling me that he was getting a Gamecube nothing would stop him and when he came over to my house the day I got my copy,he threw the idea of the Gamecube out the window.
What I am trying to say is Playstation are selling loads more consoles due to the game and why should they give this you XBox.Another example to think of is Super Mario Sunshine the week that came out Gamesmaster say the amount sold was a 40% rise.
This may sound stupid but if XBox make this game what is to stop from trying to make another GTA game after this one ownly for the XBox.

Who really cares - apart from Rockstar - what formats it is released on. At the end of the day it's great fun to play and the more people that play it, the more money Rockstar make, and the more they will spend on making the next instalment much much better.

As Tom said, Rockstar's exclusivity contract runs out in 2004.

I think Sony will keep the brand, as they'll have priority. It's the Playstation 2's main strength over it's competitors.
