i'm becoming frustrated at the moment with David Beckham, and this new contract he's sposed to have agreed to back in September. If he agreed then, then why hasn't he signed yet???

I know that he wanted to see who'd be in charge next-season, and know he knows Fergie will still be there. I recall reading something in which Beckham expressed his delight in Fergie's descision, so he's obviously happy to stay at United. So, he knows who will be incharge next-season, and he's therefore happy to stay, but why still hasn't he signed yet???

Apparently, he's been offered around £70/80,000 per week, basic! That just about matches Sol Campbell, making him the joint highest-paid player in the Premiership and top at United. He'll be on even more than Veron and van Nistelrooy, if he accepts!! So why the delay now then, anyone would be mad not to sign for that much??? Even Victoria would be happy!

Or is that the problem there, his wife, Victoria Beckham. We've all about how she 'supposedly' wears the trousers in the Beckham household, and how she wants to either back down to London, or fly off to Spain or Italy to live. Could this be effecting Beckahm's descision???
After all, it's not un-common for the footballers' wives to influence a big descision in their career, look at the likes of Zidane. His wife stopped him joining United as she said she's happier living in the nice weather, and doesn't want to be in the rain by a polluted river! So could the same thing be going on with the Beckhams???

If so, then David needs to stand up for himself and do what he wants to do! He needs to give Posh her skirt back and put on his trousers! We all know how much he loves United, since he was a boy and moved up from London just to sign for them! Why on Earth would he leave?? She must be happy with the money now, and can finally give up her career in that awfull 'pop/dance music'! So it could just be where she wants to live that effect David's descision.
Lets all hope that England's captain and the set-piece supremo does what's right and signs this new deal!!

I don't think we should be too worried about Beckham leaving, if he does, i've seen his son Brooklyn play! And he scored at Old Trafford (even if it was after the match), he also left all the defenders miles away (maybe he needed a nappie change??)! And it's only another.....15 years maybe, untill Brooklyn's ready to go!

Yes this is frustrating. We need Beckham too sign, no one could replace Beckham.

I think David should just not give a damm about what Victoria wants to do, shes a c*ap singer anyway so how can she move to get her career better :D

Get signing Beckham!

David shouldn't care what Victoria thinks, and I honestly do not have a clue as to how or why he lets Victoria make all the descisions???

you hit the old nail on the head of course victoria is holding up these preceedings. ever since she's been with him she's been trying to make him move to london or italy for all the shops. david would have signed alot earlier if he weren't with that b*tch. she can't use the excuse now i need to move to make work easier seeing as how she isn't doing much now. so david get them trousers off her send her into the kitchen and get your hand writing on that contract
