today i walked into a shop near us called C&N cycles. I noticed a new demo console. It was (ironically) an Xbox.
The first thing i noticed was DAMN THAT IS HUGE! Its true. The xbox is really massive. The controller is huges as well. On close inspection it was still huge.
Well the game was snowboarding and easy to pick up. It was mainly easy because to play it all you need is 1 control stick and 1 button. I tried pressing the other buttons but i could work out what they did.
The controller was uncomfortable to use and my hands were sweating and aching within minites. The graphics were good but the game didn't seem to be very big. there was a certain free roaming aspect but i found you couldn't get too far. Also you were as far down the mountain as you could get withing a few minuites.
I played on it for about 10 mins then got bored and wondered off. I was honestly not at all impressed. The only impressive Xbox feature were the graphics.

I agree, that controller is a pain in the rump to use.
If you'd played on an X-box you woudnt really want it to succeed.

Hmmm, the XBOX doesn't sound too impressive. I still will probably wait a while before I buy my next console. Maybe if the XBOX is a failure then they will drop the price drastically.
