so are there any sucess stories with the VIPs then any one actually got a wave bird then?

Yep some people are right for the effort of getting the points you can just pay around £20 to get one, how much did Nintendo expect people to pay to have enough points for the wave bird

Game Cube 500
star fox etc think theres is 11 games with VIPs in 2750
Plus the 750 bonus
and of course 200 for registering,

p.s 5 for each day too
thats
4200 and u still hadnt enough, how did people get enough in the first place then??

Dunno - just click on GC games and you should find it. Click on the price to get conversion rates as well. It works out at around £20 for decent titles like FIFA 2003 and Medal of Honour. I can vouch for them because I ordered the aforementioned games last week and they arrived yesterday. Tonight I'm going to play FIFA 2003 until my fingers bleed!

It was too complicated and required too much effort. They should have just given away free Wavebirds to everyone who registered Eternal Darkness, Mario Sunshine and Starfox. That would have encouraged more people to buy them.

Stop it Robbo! If you want a wavebird that badly, order it from www.DVDCrave.com - it'll only cost you about £16. Or, better yet, order it with a game for £40.

But please don't go on about points anymore - no-one cares or wants to know.

just started this topic to see what people think about the idea? was it worth collecting and typing in codes stuff, suppose the screen savers pics and on line guides are nice but is it all really worth it, would have been nice if nintendo would have had a better selection of prizes other than GBA and wave bird, being 6000 and 4500 then next being a screen saver,

When people are loyal like me having N64 and then moving onto the GC, would be nice if Nintendo would support there customers and put a bit more into it, i know that no one else has done this idea and i liked it just hope in future they have more available for the points we all collect?

This is why I didn't try and get a Wavebird.
