Is it possible to get any sort of disease (i.e. tetanus) from cutting yourself on a fence?

I was climbing over a fence on a shortcut last night and it has spikes on top and I slipped and cut my palm on one of the spikes.

The cut has gone red and the skin around is soft and darker than usual.

Could I have caught something and infected it and it is worth going to the doctors?

My life is at stake, hurry!

You can get tetanus from rusty stuff unless you've been vaccinated, which you probably have been. Just clean it and put some antiseptic on. Unless your jaw goes stiff - in which case you're as good as dead.

The coolest ISP ever!
In my opinion, the ISP is the best I have ever used. They guarantee 'first time connection - everytime', which they have never let me down on.
Thanks!
Thank you for dealing with this so promptly it's nice having a service provider that offers a good service, rare to find nowadays.
