I beg.

Idea 1 (Posted by VenomByte) :-
Seriously think Notables (or at least some people) should be given moderator powers. There are a good deal of forums around which aren't even as active as these, yet they appoint several moderators to help maintain things. These moderators only need be responsible forum members who are around a lot of the time - particularly times like evenings and weekends when staff are less likely to be around. They don't need full 'powers', just enough to stop abuse of the forums - i.e., ability to edit and delete posts.
As well as taking pressure of the staff, it would help improve the quality of things here. After all, it can't be a bad idea to appoint people who actually want to spend their time keeping the forums in shape...

Idea 2 (posted by pb) :-
How about forums that you could only post in if you'd stayed longer than, say, 400 days or were given permission by staff? Something like that could work for a small number of forums, thereby not excluding those newbies from everything. After all, we were all new once (though, not in the current status sense).

Idea 3 (posted by Ev][L~Dark) me :) :-
There must be some way it spilt apart the spammers and the good posters?
The FOG-Prime is only a place for the regulars, which is the only place where we can run too but can't chat in there.
How about if we did a Second FOG Chat only for Regulars and notables?

There are many more ideas that we can think up, Come on Staffies!
>and the same for banning five people click for banning then they are banned.
Nah, because then people could ban someone for no reason. I'd probably be banned because about 5 people don't like me. I think the notables would be banned because more than 5 people are jelouse of them. It just wouldn't work.

You have to clearly state either "this is copied from so and so.com" or "I wrote this all myself"
N00bs are here a few days, win a few GADs by copying from other sites and then leave. This stops people (usually regulars) from winning when they have spent ages writing a walkthrough or carefully writing hints.

I like that, alot.

And there would be no time limit or post limit making someone a regular?
